Improved QuickFix Studio

The brilliant QuickFix Studio is a one-stop image fixing shop allowing you to easily make several photo adjustments in one hit. The powerful new Blemish and Patch tools remove spots and marks with ease. The QuickFix Studio also boasts improved speed and new split-view before and after previews. Instantly enhancing your images has never been easier.

Blemish Tool and Patch Tool

Save that all-important shot that was spoiled by a pimple or blotch! New Blemish and Patch tools add to Scratch Removal and other impressive PhotoPlus retouch features, bringing techniques often employed by magazines to abolish image imperfections. The Blemish tool combines pixels from pickup and target areas, automatically softening the edges of the selected area, with the effect becoming more pronounced with each click – simple.

Improved Instant Artist

Can't paint, won't paint? PhotoPlus X2 turns you into an Instant Artist! Choose from a range of artistic styles for your photos including Impressionist, Van Gogh, Oil, Pencil, Paint and Ink, Watercolour, and with a before and after preview watch your image transform into a masterpiece in just seconds. New artistic style previews and improved speed make the Instant Artist easier to use.

Improved Filter Effects Gallery

The Filter Gallery is a one-stop-shop for applying and combining effects within one easy-to-use window. The Filter Gallery remembers the last used effect and offers undo/redo for total flexibility. With over 45 effects, a redesigned layout, improved split-view before and after previews and speed enhancements, the Filter Gallery is more powerful than ever.

New Filter Effects

New Comic Book, Vignette and Texture effects extend the creative possibilities on offer in PhotoPlus X2. Comic Book gives your pictures an impressive hand-drawn look combining areas of flat colour with enhanced ink-like edges, while Vignette adds an attractive soft-edged oval shape to your photos. New Texture effects add realistic paper crinkles or other surface styles to your images. These can be applied to your images directly or via the improved Filter Gallery.

Black and White Film

Achieve stylish Hollywood-esque photos of old with the new Black & White Film image adjustment (and adjustment layer). The effect intelligently converts your colour photo to black and white – why intelligently? Because it lets you independently vary the greyscale tone sensitivity of up to seven colours in your original image. Even apply a colour tint such as sepia to your converted image for eye-catching effects.

Outlines

Outlines provide a stylish line to any selected area, and are also available as an editable Layer Effect for full layers, text, and shapes. Outlines have customisable colour, width, and blend mode. For Layer Effect outlines, colour and transparency can also vary with a full range of graduations including linear, radial, conical, square, and contour.
